Display offline button
Use this feature to show an alternative version of the chat button during offline hours.
Description
When this feature is on, the configured parameters will be used to render an offline version of the chat button.
Configuration
Offline button is clickable
Select this if you'd prefer to have the button still clickable to grant visitors access to Instant answers or Inbox's offline auto-reply message.
Offline text
This is the text that will be shown on the offline version of your chat button. Leaving this blank while configuring the icon parameter will result in an "icon only" button.
Offline icon
This dropdown provides some offline versions of the default six Inbox chat icons, as well as providing a generic X icon and a "Custom" option. There is also a "None" option which will result in a text-only button when used in conjunction with a populated "offline text" value.
Offline icon SVG
When selecting "Custom" in the icon dropdown, you can set the icon to any SVG you'd like by pasting the SVG text, including the enclosing <svg> tags. You can also adjust the padding to change the size of the SVG graphic relative to the button text.
Offline text color
This parameter defines an alternative color for the offline button's label and icon. This is useful for providing a "faded" variant of the text color to indicate that the button is not interactable.
Hiding button when offline
When turning the entire "Display offline button" feature off, the chat button will simply be hidden during offline hours.
The configurations in this feature will be applied while outside of the hours configured in the online schedule feature.
